Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Lutily ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Service Description

Lutily is an appointment booking platform for beauty professionals. The Service includes:

Branded booking pages for salons, barbers, and beauty professionals
Appointment scheduling and management tools
SMS notifications for booking confirmations, reminders, and updates
Client management and waitlist features

SMS Messaging Program

Program name: Lutily Appointment Notifications

Program description: Lutily sends transactional SMS messages related to appointment bookings made through the Lutily platform. Messages include phone verification codes, booking confirmations, appointment reminders, cancellation notices, and reschedule updates.

Consent and opt-in

By providing your phone number during the booking process on a Lutily-powered booking page and submitting your booking, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from Lutily related to your appointment. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may book by contacting the business directly without providing SMS consent.

At the point of phone number entry, the following disclosure is displayed before the user submits:

"By providing your phone number you agree to receive appointment-related texts (confirmations, reminders, verification). Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Consent to receive appointment reminders is not required to book. Terms & Privacy Policy"

This disclosure is shown on every Lutily-powered booking page during the phone verification step, directly below the phone number input and above the submission button. Links to these Terms and our Privacy Policy are included inline.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on booking activity. Clients typically receive 1–5 messages per appointment (verification code, confirmation, reminders, and any changes). Business owners may receive additional messages related to managing their bookings.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan.

Opt-out

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from Lutily. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. Note that opting out of SMS may affect your ability to receive appointment reminders and verification codes.

Supported carriers

Lutily SMS messages are supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Social Login

You may sign in to Lutily using third-party authentication providers such as Google or Facebook. By doing so, you authorize Lutily to access your basic profile information (name and email address) from the provider for account creation and authentication purposes only. Your use of social login is also subject to the respective provider's terms of service and privacy policy.

Accounts

Business accounts

To create a business account, you must provide accurate business and contact information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Client bookings

Clients book appointments through your Lutily booking page. By providing their phone number during the booking process, clients consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to their appointment (verification, confirmation, reminders, updates). Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of booking an appointment.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or messages unrelated to appointments
Interfere with the operation of the Service

Pricing

Lutily is currently free during the invite-only beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future. We will provide advance notice of any pricing changes to active users.

Intellectual Property

The Lutily platform, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of Lutily. You retain ownership of the content you add to the platform (business information, service listings, etc.).

Limitation of Liability

Lutily is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lutily shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
